The Residential Services programs at Samaritan Daytop Village are designed to meet the unique needs of adults with chronic substance use histories. We provide a highly structured environment for treatment through the therapeutic community model. Our programs promote recovery through counseling, self-help, and mutual support.

Specialized Programs and Services

Samaritan Daytop Village offers treatment programs for individuals with specific needs such as the:

  • Veterans Programs: or men and women who are military veterans navigating the challenges of substance use and mental health disorders including PTSD.
  • Parenting and Pregnant Mothers: For mothers in recovery requiring specialized treatmentand support as they learn essential parental skills while living with their young children (birth to age 4) in the facility) .
  • Medication for Addiction Treatment: For individuals dependent on heroin or other opiates, utilizing medication to stabilize and support recovery.
