We operate residences and shelters for families and individuals who are in need of stable housing. Our facilities provide temporary housing for those working towards permanent housing. Each year, Samaritan Daytop Village works with over 800 New Yorkers to find a permanent and affordable place to live.
Note: To access New York City shelters and transitional residences, individuals must visit a NYC Department of Homeless Services Intake Center.
The residences and shelters offer temporary housing and supportive services to help individuals regain stability. We assist clients in applying for permanent housing options through DHS,.
Our Facilities Include
93rd Avenue, Belt Park, Boulevard, Bridge II, Bridge Haven, Gloria’s House, and Rachel’s House
Forbell, Myrtle Avenue, 49th Street, 53rd Street, and Clermont Shelters
Van Siclen Women’s Shelter
If you are placed in a residential treatment facility, you will be residing at that program for the duration of your treatment. Throughout your time with us, we will work to connect you with a specialist in housing as well as job training and vocational specialists to help you find employment and supportive, low-cost housing options.
