At Samaritan Daytop Village, we recognize that recovery from chronic substance use disorder often requires comprehensive, medically supported care. Our Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) services are designed to provide individuals with the tools they need to detoxify while building a foundation for long-term, stable recovery.

We offer a range of programs that cater to different needs, including Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) and Medically Assisted Treatment and Recovery (MTAR) services. These services are provided in outpatient or residential settings. The programs are designed to help the patient reduce the physical and emotional toll of addiction while helping them regain control by supporting their long-term health and well-being.

Cape Road Residential Treatment Program

For those with chronic opioid dependencies, including heroin and other opiates, our Cape Road Residential Treatment Program in Ellenville, NY, offers a medically-assisted, therapeutic community model. This program is designed to provide clients with the needed structure and support to begin their recovery journey in a highly individualized and focused environment.

Key Features:

  • Intensive Counseling: Both group and individual addiction counseling will address the psychological aspects of recovery.Comprehensive Services: Includes primary and mental health care, education and training, and employment services to support reintegration into society.

Opioid Treatment Program

Our Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP) in the Bronx offer Methadone or Buprenorphine as part of Medication for Addiction Treatment. These programs are designed for individuals who need opioid replacement therapy to manage their addiction in a stable, outpatient setting.

Program Features:

  • Opioid Replacement Therapy: Clients receive daily doses of Methadone or Buprenorphine to stabilize and reduce cravings.
  • Comprehensive Care: Includes primary care services, psychiatric care, and intensive case management to address all aspects of recovery.
  • Directly Observed Therapy (DOT): For clients with tuberculosisor other medical conditions, DOT ensures adherence to medication.
  • Accredited & Licensed: Our OTPs are licensed by NYS OASAS and DEA, and accredited by the Joint Commission.
