Supporting Veterans During Recovery From Substance Use Disorder

In honor of Veterans Day, Roger Walker, Director of the Ed Thompson Veterans Program, joined Spectrum News NY1 and anchor Shannan Ferry to shine a light on an issue deeply impacting the veteran community: substance use disorder.

Our veterans programs—created by veterans, for veterans—help those who have served recover from substance use disorder and rebuild their lives. Roger knows this journey personally. He once came to the Ed Thompson Veterans Program as a client. Today, he leads it, helping other veterans find the same path to recovery.
