At Samaritan Daytop Village, we follow a holistic approach to care by responding to the needs of the whole person, not just the disorder. Our Integrated Care Model connects all of our programs, disciplines, and services together. In doing so, all areas of their life receive equal attention, from mental health to vocational skills to housing stability.
We understand that substance use disorder, mental health challenges, homelessness, and other life struggles are often deeply connected. A person facing addiction may also be dealing with mental illness, unemployment, a lack of education, and housing instability. Lasting recovery requires addressing these overlapping challenges—without doing so, the path to real and lasting change can feel out of reach.
Our Integrated Care Model ensures that all these factors are addressed in tandem. We createa comprehensive support system that works for the individual as a whole. By combining all the services below, we help our clients make lasting changes in their lives, offering not just treatment, but a road to a healthier, more secure future. For example:
We provide evidence-based treatment for substance use disorder.
We treat any co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.
We offer programs for those individuals with substance use disorder experience to become a certified counselor and help others in their recovery.
We offer housing support, that gives our clients the best opportunity at having a stable environment to build their future.
We provide on-site medical screening and preventative care that is essential to healthy living.
We offer an array of vocational and employment services that help individuals gain skills and certifications that are needed to secure meaningful employment.
We go beyond treating addiction by addressing all aspects of an individual’s life.
Our team works together to ensure that all aspects of a client’s care are seamlessly integrated.
We help clients gain the skills, mental health support, and stability they need to thrive in the community.
By offering holistic care, we help clients build a strong foundation for lasting recovery and success in all areas of their lives.
How we deliver the services in our care model is also important. Collaboration is key to our approach as we integrate services across multiple discipline to ensure our clients’ treatment plans are holistic. A team of specialists—including addiction counselors, mental health professionals, medical staff, case managers, vocational counselors, and housing experts—work together to craft an individualized care plan that addresses each person’s unique needs.
At Samaritan Daytop Village, we believe everyone deserves a second chance.Through our Integrated Care Model, we give our clients that chance with the tools and support they need to build a productive and self-sustaining future.
