Women Veterans Programs
Thanks to the treatment she received at the Women Veterans Program, Rachel has been in recovery since 2014 and is now an Addictions Counselor at the Young Mothers Program.
Rachel Marshall is a former Army combat medic who survived childhood trauma and domestic violence. Her journey from substance use disorder began in 2014 when she became a client of Samaritan Daytop Village’s Women Veterans Program. Today, she is an Addiction Counselor for Samaritan Daytop Village’s Young Mothers Program in Manhattan, and is happily married with children and grandchildren.
