At Samaritan Daytop Village, we understand that recovery is a lifelong journey – and an individual’s support network can potentially make all the difference. Both during and after treatment, we will provide large-scale support to help guide individuals and their families throughout their recovery process. Our volunteer-based Support Groups offer opportunities for those in recovery as well as their families to connect, learn, and grow together.
Our Samaritan Daytop Family Association offers invaluable support for family members, loved ones, and caregivers. These peer-led groups aid families in understanding the challenges of addiction recovery and connect them to a supportive network and potential resources.
For those individuals in long-term recovery programs, the Samaritan Daytop Alumni Association offers ongoing support. This vibrant, peer-led community of volunteers holds multiple meeting locations across New York City and Long Island where alumni can continue to build their recovery network and stay connected to various resources.
